After the trailer was released I started rereading It. I read it shortly after it was released, one of the first Stephen King books I read as a new release. I never saw the mini series. So far I am really enjoying it. Some parts I remember clearly, and there's a lot I forgot. One thing that has occurred to me though is for such a powerful, cosmic being, Pennywise isn't very motivated. According to the story It has been around for ages, and is some kind of cosmic entity, but doesn't do much more than get restless every 27 years or so and eat some locals.

This made me laugh, because I never thought about it before. Pennywise is like a powerful, lazy supernatural cat: most of the time he likes to doze, but occasionally he wakes up and likes to toy with his food before going back to sleep.

Stephen King is definitely off the radar for now. Recently, some people that I know were talking about the DARK TOWER series lightly but it fizzled fast (references to McConaughey being a hard choice; sometimes he's good/bad) so I didn't bother interjecting.
In general about reading, I started reading HIERO"S JOURNEY last year some time and its been a slow read because my free time I'm working on the D&D stuff.
