www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7MGUNV8MxUI think thats some kind of celestial representative. In the Grandmaster's luxury box for the arena there is a multi-eyed "Kirby-an" who looks a lot like the celestial from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014).

Hela looks awesome. That scene of her slowly turning, in the full-on Kirby horns-headgear with Led Zeppelin playing... Wow.
Unfortunately, the "Planet Hulk" portion looks very watered down. I wonder if shoehorning that into this movie will be a mistake. It's one of my favorite Hulk stories, and I'd rather see it get its own movie. But we'll see. In this trailer, it looks like the gladiator fight is simply being played up for fun and laughs, without all the desperation and grimness of the comic book and the underlying theme of Hulk being there in the first place because he was betrayed by his friends. That whole story of Hulk being rejected and thrown away like trash, and then beat down and humiliated and forced to fight as a gladiator, but then slowly turning it around by making new friends, and being unbeatable and becoming the ruler and returning to earth to get revenge on his betrayers... That was a powerful story. It was so iconic for the Hulk.
Now that I write that out, I realize it is basically the same story as FIRST BLOOD (1982): guy gets treated so unfairly and thrown away like trash, but everyone underestimates him and finds out the hard way he's not so easy to get rid of.
I'd say your celestial representative guess is as good as any, with those signature Kirby designs.

The soldiers used by Ronan the Accuser in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014) were supposed to be the insectoid race from the PLANET HULK series. Does this mean there is going to be "Son of Hulk"? This is going to be a fusion of the trial of the Hulk from the 70's and planet Hulk storylines (which is sort of a remake anyway) but I think Strange may be taking the place of Pym as Pym doesn't seem to be on the "Stark side" of banishing the Hulk... If that is going to be the case, what are the chances of seeing Harlan Ellison's Jarella?

Some of my first Hulk issues from the 70's were the ones where Hulk reunites with Jarella in the micro-world, becomes their champion and ruler and is finally happy, and then brings Jarella back to earth where she dies.

Its hard to mention the innappropriate Asgardian characters but the choice of the Valkyrie is really bad.

Nothing says "political correctness" more than "Multi-ethnic Asgard."
I don't understand the need for a multi-ethnic Asgard, either, but in the end it won't determine whether the movie is good or not.

Yeah, I hate when they pull crap like this because it so hard to say it sucks with a clear voice. I wonder if BLACK PANTHER is going to have the representative cast thing...? Wakandan Guard: T'Challa, you're mother is here... Black Panther: Michael Caine??? Whuh???

Thor vs. the Hulk -- who should win?
I always thought Thor had the edge with Mjolnir, but without Mjolnir they were about equal.

In JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #112 (1965) a bunch of kids are arguing over who would beat who the Hulk or Thor and they fight but its deliberately not resolved to send the kids the message its not about power but how its used wisely in the cause of justice.
During the battle Thor is recounting to the kids, he asks Odin permission to take all his power out of the hammer putting it directly into him to humble the Hulk without a weapon. The Hulk makes him kneel but then he lifts the Hulk but its a big brouhaha with Giant Man and the Other Avengers with the Submariner on the Hulk's side as well.
I think this is before they establish the Hulk's strength is infinite when raged.

Thats the original Hulk mentality too with him being a little on the corrupt side.
