Just watched last night. Two thumbs up doesn't disappoint. Non-spoiling, I can say gives nods to its source but makes film its own.

I just watched it. Good flick. The zombies are more like "28 Days Later" than Romero, but also given a twist to add something new. Sometimes with foreign films -- especially Asian -- there is a cultural barrier that makes the story confusing or less effective, but not in this case. The filmmakers stuck to core archetypes and relationships that are human universals, and that made it work well.

Yeah, I agree. Even with full zombie saturation it was still a good watch.
