Gary, did you get Gygax magazine 3 yet? I'm curious about this adventure. Matbe you'd like to run it before I read it?

I have not received issue #3 yet. I'll have to check out this adventure.
Marmoreal is one of those words I associate with pulp writers like Clark Ashton Smith and Lovecraft. It sounds so much better than marble.
I'm in Charlotte, NC waiting for my connecting flight back to Pittsburgh. I've been in Raleigh all week. Hopefully the mag will be waiting for me in my mailbox when I get home later today.

Gygax #3 was in my mailbox on Friday like I thought it would be. I'm reading the adventure. As far as I can tell, this adventure is to the "Hobby Shop Dungeon" what Dark Chateau was to Castle Zagyg. It is for levels 1-3.

Yeah, that's what I guessed from the snippets.

They don't seem to have it available or even mention it anywhere.

Also, the Marmoreal Tomb appears to be incomplete, meaning there are numbered areas on the map that are not described in the key.* It looks like it would take a bit of creative work from the DM to complete this adventure.
*Edit: No that is incorrect, for some reason I was thinking the key did not have all the numbers for some reason. But that's not true.

I will say this much: when GYGAX magazine launched, what I was hoping for was adventure material from Ernie and Luke. So I was really happy to see this. As long as the Brothers Gygax keep contributing to the mag, I'll keep buying it.

I just looked around on their website and you can't order the new one so I looked around the web and this site called RPG Now had the prior issues but I stumbled on to this from January 2013: www.rpgnow.com/product/110262/D20-Girls-Magazine---January-2013?src=s_piI do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do... With that in mind, Gygax magazine seems like D&D utopia!

I've never understood the "I do believe in spooks" reference.
Did the Cowardly Lion think that if by openly admitting he believed in spooks, that would somehow ward them off or make them leave him alone?
I guess that was because right after the tin man said he didn't [believe in them], he was levitated and then dropped -- evidently by spooks?

There are some humorous elements in this adventure that remind me of older styles of play when things weren't taken so seriously. But I don't want to give anything away yet.
It would be nice to know what elements are from Ernie and what parts are from the co-writer.

I guess that was because right after the tin man said he didn't, he was levitated and then dropped -- evidently by spooks? Yes, well, I was referring to hoping they'll leave me alone! Speaking of D&D nerd association, the D&D episode of BIG BANG THEORY was doing its rounds over the weekend I heard. Ugh! Bad mojo!
