I didn't immediately realize you were referring to a Dr Seuss creature, so I looked it up and found weirdos covered only in sneetch patterned paint: www.flickr.com/photos/adwb/2599126983/What is this? "Pedaling for Pedophilia"?

There are people out there who will ruin anything...
Fine, dress up as sneetches -- but what's with the nudity? I can't unburn those images from my retinas now.

Heh, I was checking the Seuss books and there is a ton of long snooted things with two antennae. I think you'd have to rhyme with the story of this creature. The urge to see a stirge is a dud as it wants your blood but what you'll hate are the stirges that are greater.
Stirges that are greater makes the exit straighter. The stirge with no head drinks blood til you're dead.
The stirge with no head can be called "headless" it is said the stirge like a man we can't call it "Stan".
"Stirgeman" is plain for this bipedal pain like stirge and a bear lets call it a "stear".
Sounds like a "cow" and like those who say "drow": "drow", it would be of a flavor that would not say "glaive" or, or "geas" or,"jellies of ochre". but a stirge and an ogre...
Might be a combination to give us the appellation of "stogre" to use and stopping doing the "Seuss"
