Alright, they weren't that Scottish (I would let them get away with calling them British perhaps but Ian McShane as their leader came off more Scottish than usual.) but still there was something about this movie that says its influenced by Disney's version.
Something "Hollyweird" was going on there with making it fit with modern sensibilities and at the same time logjamming a lot of quasi-medieval.
Its nice to look at but the spfx seems wasted on standard "kewl creatures" that you'd expect to see in "Monte Cook's World of Fayle" kind of thing and not in the imagined fairy tale readings of yesterday.
