 Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay
« Thread Started on Aug 26, 2009, 6:48am »

I just picked up Dark Heresy, the first book for the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay system. It’s a quality book; most of the Warhammer related stuff is. Just like much of the Warhammer related stuff, it’s a money drain. There’s always more stuff to buy. This book is almost 400 pages long, and it’s just the first of three core books. Each book will detail different career groups. The first book details the options available to Acolytes of the Inquisition. The military options, i.e. the space marines, etc, won’t be covered until the third book. It’s a d10/percentage based system, mechanics-wise very similar to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. I haven’t read much of the book yet, but it’s been pretty good so far.
